Feels good to do art again!
Anyway, I can’t tell you guys much about working with Cirque, but I can show you. I did this piece for one of the performers, a mixture of spray paints, metallics, guache, and acrylic. It takes a nice photograph! Hope they like it!
Feels good to do art again!
Send me a picture! I’ll tell you what I would do and I’ll link you to some tutorials.
We both plan on entering next week!
I was saddened by the supreme lack of merchandise for cosplay as a general hobby — so I made this kickass shirt for myself on redbubble!
I threw it up for the public if you guys wanna get one too!! Should be great for sewing days and on-the-way to the convention days!
To celebrate the new season, have a photoset!
With Sylar as Hannibal Lector & Sheila as both Abigail Hobbs and fem! Will Graham!
Cosplay by Aicosu!
She is nothing but photoshop!
As is the big daddy I seem to have angered.
I made a tutorial on how I did my pauldrons for smaug. In case you don’t know what drybrushing is. It’s my favourite technique for painting. Obviously.
Ngl, I have the biggest thing for dry-brushing. Great tutorial!
Meh it really depends. We are both at a weight right now that we are comfortable with. And luckily we have the metabolism to maintain it.
Sylar and I are also really fuckin lazy when it comes to exercising and dieting. It’s like pulling teeth to do anything.
I did some weight training to try and bulk my arms for Korra, and even that feel through because MEHHHHHHHHH PHYSCIAL EFFORT SOO HAARRRDDD.
SO yeah no, probably not.
I get along well with all my siblings!
Chez and I haven’t cosplayed again together because 1. He hasn’t brought up wanting to do anything else. And 2. He and I have been really busy becoming adults and starting our careers, not to mention we are in different states now.
Chez really does make an excellent Zuko though. Funnest bro/sis cosplay project ever.
As for my other siblings, my little sister has cosplayed with me a few times and she loves going to conventions. Again, its just a moment in my life where I’m going through a lot of transisitons. Moving, graduating, jobs, RENT. Hahah!
Sylar is the one cosplaying Grell, and he is a boy.
But thank you!!!!!!!!!
More progress for Megumi from Rurouni Kenshin!! It’s funny that I was just thinking about what inspired me to begin making my costumes and it was actually Sheila from Aicosu. I didn’t really know much about them before I got to speak with her for a while at Anime Expo, but I remember commenting on her Korra costume and how great the sewing was and her laughing and showing me the inside of Sylar’s Tahno jacket. It helping me realize that I had to start somewhere, haha!
100000000000 points for you for beging Megumi!! RK was my first anime! And Kenshin was my frist animu husbando.
